Domestic Violence
Recovery & Rebuilding Program

A structured, post-crisis pathway supporting women to rebuild stability, independence, and long-term wellbeing
The Domestic Violence Recovery & Rebuilding Program has been developed to address a critical and often overlooked phase in the support continuum:

The period that begins after crisis intervention ends.

While significant resources are allocated to immediate safety and crisis response, there remains a clear gap in structured, post-crisis support — particularly in relation to long-term recovery, financial independence, and life rebuilding.

Women are frequently exited from formal support systems within weeks, at a point where the complexity of their situation is only just beginning to emerge.

At this stage, many are navigating:
-
Financial instability or lack of access to shared assets
-
Limited access to legal guidance regarding separation and settlement
-
Disrupted housing and employment pathways
-
Reduced confidence and decision-making capacity following prolonged exposure to coercive or controlling environments

The absence of a structured rebuilding framework during this phase can result in prolonged vulnerability, dependency on support systems, and difficulty re-establishing long-term stability.

The Domestic Violence Recovery & Rebuilding Program has been designed to respond directly to this gap.

It provides a clear, step-by-step methodology to support women transitioning from crisis response into sustainable independence.

At the centre of the program is the Feminine Pyramid of Empowerment™ — a purpose-built framework that aligns with the practical and psychological stages of rebuilding.

The model supports progression across five key domains:
-
Safety & Security — establishing a stable and supported foundation
-
Financial Independence — rebuilding income, access, and financial capability
-
Self Worth & Belonging — restoring identity, connection, and internal stability
-
Achievement & Recognition — building confidence through measurable progress
-
Lifestyle by Design — creating a sustainable and self-directed future
This structured approach enables women to move beyond short-term survival and into long-term recovery outcomes.

It also provides a consistent framework that can be integrated into broader service delivery models, supporting improved continuity of care beyond crisis intervention.

Importantly, this program does not replace existing crisis services.

It complements them.

By extending the support pathway into the rebuilding phase — where long-term outcomes are ultimately determined.

Developed through both lived experience and professional expertise, the program reflects the real-world challenges women face when attempting to rebuild without access to coordinated, structured support.

The Domestic Violence Recovery & Rebuilding Program represents a shift in approach:
From reactive, short-term intervention…to structured, long-term recovery and independence.
The program will be released publicly, with opportunities for collaboration and delivery across community organisations, agencies, and government initiatives.

In the interim, private strategy sessions are available for women seeking immediate support in rebuilding their lives with clarity and direction.

Because recovery is not complete when a woman is safe. Recovery is complete when she is stable, independent, and able to move forward with confidence.
